Appendix 5.1: This card was initiated and prepared by students during my 3rd year 20 day practicum in a year 4 class. This card shows a positive and warm rapport that I had developed with students by the end of my stay.
Appendix 5.2: The lesson below aimed to introduce mass to a year 4 class. the lesson used explicit links to prior knowledge of students and aimed to help students make connections about the 'mass' to items found in their everyday lives. Below the lesson plan is a student work sample which demonstrates comprehension and engagement with the task.
